Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Write to Convert (“WTC,” “I,” or “me”) collects when you visit writetoconvert.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. WTC is run by Niaj A A Khan from Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The short version: I collect as little as possible, I never sell your information, and you can ask me to delete it at any time.

Information you give me

Email sign-up

If you join the community, I store your email address and the date you signed up. I use it only to send you new resources and occasional site news. I do not sell, rent, or share your email with anyone.

Right now, sign-up emails are stored in this website’s own database. If I start using an email service to send them, I will name it on this page before that happens.

You can leave the list at any time. Reply to any email from WTC, or send a message through the contact form, and I will remove your address.

Contact form

When you send a message, I collect your name, email address, and message. It is saved on this website and sent to my private inbox so I can reply. I use it only to answer you.

Comments

If you comment on a guide, the name and email you enter are stored, along with your IP address and browser details, to help stop spam. Spam checks run on this website only. Your comment is not sent to an outside spam service. Your first comment waits for my approval. After that, your comments appear right away. Your name and comment are public. Your email is never shown.

An anonymized string made from your email address (a “hash”) may be sent to Gravatar, a service run by Automattic, to check whether you have a profile picture. You can read the Automattic privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, the server that hosts WTC keeps basic technical logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site working. WTC is hosted by Hostinger.

WTC uses Google Analytics 4 to see which guides people read, how they found the site, and roughly where in the world they are. It counts visits. It does not tell me who you are. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects details like your browser, device, pages viewed, and a shortened version of your IP address. You can read the Google privacy policy or block tracking with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Every visitor sees a small cookie box on their first visit. If you visit from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google Analytics stays off until you say yes. Everywhere else, it runs unless you say no. Your choice is saved in your browser, and you can change it any time in your cookie settings.

WTC does not use advertising networks or tracking pixels.

Cookies

WTC uses only a few small cookies:

  • Comment cookies. If you tick the box when commenting, your name, email, and website are saved in your browser so you do not have to type them again. They last for one year.
  • Login cookies. These are only for site administrators who log in. Regular visitors do not get them.
  • Analytics cookies. Set by Google Analytics (names start with _ga) to tell new visits from return visits. They last up to two years. Visitors from the EU, UK, and Switzerland only get them after saying yes. You can delete or block them in your browser.

The hosting provider may also set a technical cookie for security or performance. None of these cookies are used for advertising.

How your information is used

  • To send you the guides and updates you signed up for
  • To reply to your messages
  • To show and moderate comments
  • To keep the website safe and working

I do not use your information for automated decisions or profiling.

Who your information is shared with

I do not sell or trade your personal information. It is only handled by services that help run the site: Hostinger (hosting), Google Analytics (visit statistics), Gravatar (comment pictures), and my email provider (to receive contact form messages). I will also share information if the law requires it.

How long it is kept

  • Email sign-ups: until you leave the list.
  • Contact messages: up to 12 months, unless you and I are still in touch.
  • Comments: as long as the comment stays on the site.
  • Server logs: for the standard period set by the hosting provider.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask me to:

  • Show you the personal information I hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete your information
  • Stop sending you emails

Send your request through the contact form. I will reply within 30 days. If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, these requests also cover your rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

WTC is written for adults running businesses. It is not meant for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has shared information here, contact me and I will delete it.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, and access to the admin area is limited. No website is 100% secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect what you share.

Links and embedded content

Guides may link to other websites or include embedded content, like a video. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Embedded content can collect information about you as if you had visited that website directly.

Changes to this privacy policy

WTC may add new features later, such as an email service, ads, or affiliate links. If that happens, this page will be updated before they go live, and the date at the top will change.
