FAQ

Questions about the businesses.

What is the businesses list?

It is a list of 771 small businesses, from photographers and coaches to bakers and doulas. For each one, I write guides and case studies that fit how that business actually finds customers.

How do I find my business?

Type what you do in the search box above, like “wedding photographer” or “yoga teacher.” If it is on the list, you will see its guides and cases right away.

What if my business isn’t on the list?

Tell me about your business. I read every message, and I add new businesses based on what readers ask for.

What will I find for my business?

Guides for the words you need most, like flyers, emails, ads and website copy. You will also find case studies from owners in the same line of work.

My business is on the list, but where are its guides?

I add businesses a few at a time so each one gets proper guides, not rushed ones. If the search says it is on my list, its guides and cases are on the way.

How often do you add new guides?

New guides and case studies go up every day. Each one is written for a specific kind of business.

Are the guides and cases free?

Yes, everything on Write to Convert is free to read. There is no sign-up and no paywall.

Can I use a guide written for a different business?

Yes. Most writing skills carry over, so a baker can learn a lot from a florist’s flyer guide. Use the search to find the closest match to what you do.

Are the case studies real?

Most come from emails my readers send me. I share them with permission and change the names. Cases marked “Example case” show a typical situation instead.

How do I get new resources for my business?

Join the email list and I will send you new resources as they go up.
